25 April, 2024 - Middleburg, Virginia – The creators of the BarnWiz App are pleased to announce its official release. The BarnWiz App is available for both Apple and Android users and caters to equestrians across the horse industry, in both English and Western disciplines.
The BarnWiz App allows equine professionals to create a listing for their equine facilities that potential viewers can use in their search. A listing includes: an overall description and photos; pricing for services including riding lessons, horse training and boarding; and details about amenities like arenas, trailer parking, etc.
Many professionals have a specialty, such as coaching upper level riders, teaching kids, or schooling young horses. Any professional experience and specialty can be detailed in a Trainer Profile.
Riders create a free profile that includes their experience level, goals as a rider, objectives for training and more. Horse profiles include name, gender, breed, color, discipline, experience, vices and care information. Additionally the horse’s profile includes veterinary info and an image of the Coggins test and/or brand inspection. All of this information helps trainers and barn owners to see if the horse seems suitable for their program, and ensures that info is close at hand when a horse is stabled at their barn.
When a rider or horse owner sends a message to a Listing Owner within the app, they can include a horse or rider profile so that the professional can see if the potential client is a good fit.
More features - including booking services, auto payments at the time of service and a community feature will help a listing owner manage their business and communicate with clients even when they are away from the barn - all planned for release later this year.

BarnWiz Inc was founded in April 2022 by Tori Sullivan, who set the goal of modernizing the equestrian industry. Tori grew up riding, competing and working at Thomas Creek Horse Farm, her family’s Hanoverian breeding farm in Reno, Nevada. During her 20 year corporate career with CapGemini and IBM, she worked in the healthcare industry, leading hospitals to adopt electronic health information systems. Tori originally founded BarnWiz LLC in 2014 to connect horse owners and riders with horse professionals. After years of working with equestrian business owners and consumers, she incorporated BarnWiz and hired a team to create the App as a comprehensive business tool for the horse industry.
